In Vieques island, Puerto Rico the ocean is a major tourist attraction also called biobay. The bay contains upto 7,20,000 single celled bioluminescent dinoflagellates per gallon of water (bioluminescence refers to phenomenon of emission of light by living organisms). These emit a flash of bluish light when agitated. Their high concentration can create enough light to read a book.
