Gout is another form of arthritis. There is a problem with the patient's ability to digest protein rich diet. The metabolism of protein is affected and lumps of uric acid crystals are formed which are deposited at synovial joints. Gout sufferers should avoid meat because it is protein rich. This will lead to complications later.
